Xander Nelson was born in the spring of 1994 in the small seaside city of Portland, Maine. He picked up the electric guitar in the 6th grade, in an effort to get girls to like him. Ironically, he ended up falling in love with the instrument, instead. One album and many local nightclub gigs later, he is still working to refine his craft. He also writes music reviews, produces demos, wastes a LOT of time trying to get good at quarters, and irrationally fears graphing calculators. He currently attends Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, and hopes to share his music with as many people as possible.

His favorite bands include the White Stripes, Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age, Gorillaz, Green Day, the Decemberists, Gary Clark Jr, Weezer, Tool, and way too many more to count.
